The 2008-era home had the typical builder beige-on-beige color scheme that had yellowed over 15+ years. The textured walls showed roller marks from the original paint job, and the trim paint had chipped in high-traffic areas. The homeowners wanted a modern, coordinated look that would make the home feel refreshed without any remodeling work.
We prepared all surfaces thoroughly — washing walls, sanding trim, filling nail holes, caulking gaps, and priming stained areas. A modern neutral palette was selected: Sherwin-Williams Agreeable Gray for main living areas, Accessible Beige for bedrooms, and Pure White for all trim, ceilings, and doors. Two accent walls received darker feature colors. All work was completed with premium paint (Sherwin-Williams Emerald for walls, ProClassic for trim) for maximum durability and coverage.
The transformation was dramatic — the home looks completely different despite no structural or remodeling changes. The consistent, modern palette makes every room feel cohesive and contemporary. The homeowners say visitors regularly comment on how updated the home looks.
